A sequel to ‘Slime Rancher’ comes to Xbox Series X and PC in 2022
The Event E3 2021 of Microsoft had its share of surprises, but this can be one of the most … adorable. Monomi Park has revealed that Slime Rancher 2 comes to Xbox Series X / S and PC (through Steam and the Epic Games store) in 2022. It is still running around an open world that relentlessly collects sludge in various ways, but you ‘Now it will explore a new land (Rainbow Island) full of “old technology”. It is a very, very nice, low pressure simulator game, in other words.
Visual images have received an update, of course, at the top of the 4K support, you will see those sludge in vivid detail through dynamic lighting and the most advanced effects shaders. It can also hope that the physics “spectacularly unpredictable”, since the creatures bounce with each other.
This can be a greater treatment than it seems at first blush. The original Slime rancher has accumulated more than 10 million players since he debuted in 2017, which makes it a head candidate for a sequel. In particular, however, there is no mention of PlayStation, Mac or Linux are released this time. Monomi is clearly waiting for his approach to Xbox and Windows to be enough to guarantee strong sales for the sequel, at least for now.
