NASA found a planet like Neptune who was far away with a thick atmosphere
NASA has found a new planet around 90 years of light from the earth which he said was very similar to Neptune. A distant planet called TOI-1231 B, and it is a world of gas with a potentially rich atmosphere that NASA believes it is mature to learn. In addition, TOI-1231 B was significantly greater than the earth about 3.5 times the diameter of our planet.
With human standards, the planet is also very warm at 134 degrees Fahrenheit. However, astronomers describe it as one of the coolest planets is relatively small found so far despite high temperatures. The planet is also located in the main position for the atmosphere studied by a space-based telescope.
TOI-1231 B orbits smaller red dwarf stars but will live longer than our Sun. The planet orbits his host star in about 24 days for a very short year. Even though it was so close to the host star that this year only 24 Earth Day, it was on the cooler side because the star was not as hot as the sun. NASA is clear that the planet cannot be inhabited because of its size, but can offer scientists the opportunity to capture the “bar code” reading the atmosphere of medium-sized eceloplanet, Neptune.
Gathering that data will allow NASA to compare similar worlds elsewhere in galaxies and can bring more insight into the composition and formation of exoplanets and planetary systems. Astronomers plan to use the Hubble Space Telescope and, when launching James Webb Space Telescope to observe Starlight which shines through the Atmosphere of TOI-1231 b.
The molecule in the atmosphere of this planet will absorb the light of the spectrum produced by a star leaving the dark line that can be read like a bar-code to reveal gas in the atmosphere of the planet. NASA has seen evidence that the cloud made of water is present in the atmosphere of this planet. Further studies must disclose more information in the future.
