Forza Horizon 5 took us to Mexico later this year
As an Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase started winding today, Microsoft made a discover by announcing Forza Horizon 5. Not only did we get confirmation that Forza Horizon 5 was on the way, but we also saw extended gameplay, details about this new game setting, and Release date. Apparently, Forza Horizon 5 is not only on the road, but it will be here before the end of the year.
It was surprising to say the least, because most of us might expect Forza Motorsport 8 to come out before Forza Horizon 5. It obviously didn’t happen, because Forza Motorsport 8 wasn’t seen during the Microsoft E3 conference, while Horizon 5 closed the show in a big way.
Just as the rumor prophesied, we headed to Mexico with this installment of Forza Horizon series. Reveal Trailer, which you can see above, take a number of different environments that will be displayed in the game, but the trailer is not the only thing that Microsoft must show today – we also see gameplay expanded with a 7-minute gameplay demo that follows Trailer.
Demo Gameplay started us in Mexican forests in a new game mode called expedition, but quickly shifted to the desert where we could see some multiplayer actions. We also get a glimpse on the Horizon 5 event lab, where players will be able to make their own races and game modes. Customization seems to be the top dog in that mode, and it will be interesting to see what people make using the Horizon 5 tool.
Forza Horizon 5 Exit Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam, and Windows 10 on November 9. Like every other first party Microsoft game, it will be available through the Xbox Game Pass too. Stay here for more, because we are no doubt seeing more than Forza Horizon 5 immediately.
