Amber Riley is known by millions of fans because of her duties in the Popular Glee series. He rose to become a star playing Mercedes Jones who was talented. He was born with a strong and undeniable vocal ability that guided him to audition for American Idol. But the singer was rejected when he was 17 years old but fortunately his life would turn around for many years later.

February 15, 1986 Amber Patrice Riley was born in Los Angeles California. He grew up in a middle class family as a child. His mother Tiny Hightower was a registered nurse and his father Elwin Riley worked as a carpenter. Growing Amber listening to Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston and will imitate their singing style while she sings for her family members during the Thanksgiving and Christmas meeting. At 7 o’clock his mother bought him a portable radio with a microphone installed. Riley took him where he was included in his school in his backpack. He was academically superior at La Mirada High School graduated in 2004 with a GPA of 3.9. But even though they were accepted at Nyu, USC and Arizona State Amber Riley lived in Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting or music.

When auditioning for the sections in Hollywood, he felt very difficult. As an African -American woman and size 16, it is almost impossible for Riley to get an acting job. The only role that was offered was playing the girl sitting in the corner and eating all day or the girl who committed suicide. Amber has stated that he knows he is worthy and never wants to play a character who hates himself.

In 2006, Riley auditioned for the Effie White section in Dreamgirls, but was rejected because of her age. But what surprised him sang the song Dreamgirls for a happy audition in front of producer Ryan Murphy. It was successful and he debuted in the pilot in 2009. Since then Riley has sung a lot of solo and the closing of his girlfriend has been sold at iTunes. In 2012 after three seasons with the joy of his character Mercedes graduated and Riley went to broadway. He made a stage debut in 2012 on the Production Cotton Club stage. Cotton Club Parade is a broadway-style revue that celebrates the years of Duke Ellington at the famous Harlem nightclub in the 1920s and 30s.

In 2012 he started dating his co -star Lamarcus Tinker who was also on Friday Night Lights.
In 2013 he was announced as the latest member of Dancing with the Stars Season 17.
